Registration for Archiving Workshop Open

“For me, the workshop as a whole was most useful in helping frame my thinking (or in understanding an overall philosophy) regarding archiving and legacy building.” —Heather Lee Birdsong

Registration is now open for Archiving for Visual Artists: Career Documentation and Legacy Considerations. This six session workshop offers guidelines, best practices, and discussion about artwork inventory and storage, studio workflow, legacy goals and planning.

Career documentation and preserving one’s legacy are essential components of an artist’s life and practice at all phases of your career. This in-person workshop will help you to establish or refine studio practices that take into account ongoing documentation and safe storage of artworks, and to form an archiving system that allows you to maintain intellectual and physical control of your work over time.
